THE SUN GOLD MINE (photos to come shortly)

(Hard rock mining project)

LOCATION:

The Sun Gold mine is located approximately 24 miles southeast of Prescott, Arizona, within the Turkey Creek Mining District. The "core" of the property lies adjacent and west of the Senator Road, the primary access route into the area. From U.S. Highway 69 at the small settlement of Mayer approximately 14 miles of County maintained dirt road serves as access to the Mine area. The property is accessible year-round, and lies within gentle to moderate terrain that is heavily covered with vegetation.

PROPERTY:

Sun  Gold consists of 28 unpatented lode claims (approximately 500 acres) held by location. Old workings and outcrop exposures are predominantly confined to a draw dissecting the "core" of the deposit. Old workings consist of surface pits and two caved adits. Trenching and drilling from past exploration has partially delineated and confirmed the presence of ore reserves. The SunGold is one of the oldest mines in the District, having produced "hi-grade" ore in excess of one oz/ton Au. as evidenced by the primary mine dump which averages over .25 oz/ton Au.

 ECONOMIC GEOLOGY AND POTENTIAL:

With the completion of the National Instrument 43-101 technical report in 2010, which acknowledged the historical data on the mineralization opportunities on the Sun Gold mines, we believe the assets already acquired are extremely positive economic prospects.  For this reason, we feel there is ample justification to move toward commercial mining, while simultaneously continuing to perform additional exploratory work for additional lease acquisitions to supplement the existing mining claim leases.  The Chief Operating Officer for VHGI Gold is working towards initiating the first phase of the mining operational plan.  The three phases of the plan and the progress made during the first quarter of 2011 are outlined below:

Phase 1
  • Retention of industry specialists and operational personnel
    • Retained Exploratory Mining Geologist / Engineer in first quarter 2011.
  • Sampling and geophysical work on the claims
    • Further sampling, geophysical work and mapping being planned and ongoing at this time
    • Added an additional 24 claims to the original Sun Gold claim group which now totals over 500 acres (original group was 40 acres) to allow for better resource acquisition and mapping, as well as potential further expansion in the area
  • Preparation of capital equipment needs list
    • Partial list has been established for initial budgetary reasons and this list will continue to be altered as we move further towards the permitting process

Phase 2

  • Completion of the operational plans with modifications from discoveries made in Phase 1
  • Applying for and obtaining the necessary permits
  • Start process of purchasing capital equipment

Phase 3

  • Complete capital equipment purchases
  • Begin production and the stock pile of ore for final processing

Prior excavation and tailing, from 30 years ago and later, have consistent shows of gold.  With new equipment and technology we believe this site to be potentially an extremely positive economic prospect.

THE TREASURE GULCH MINE

(hard rock mining project)

LOCATION

The Treasure Gulch mining operations are situated in the Hassayampa Mining District of Arizona, approximately 10 miles south of Prescott.  Access is via improved County and National Forest dirt road.  Specifically, the claim group lies in T12.5 N., Range 2W, sections 30 &31.

PROPERTY HISTORY:

Previous mining activity has included limited underground development by several adits and 2 shafts.  Old workings clearly indicate that all mining activity was concentrated on strictly hi-grade ore or what is commonly referred to as “pocket mining”.  Most of the work apparently took place around the turn of the Century…with only a small amount of activity in the late 1950’s or early 1960’s.  The extent of production is unknown; nevertheless, it does appear that more than a few hundred tons of ore have been removed.

Past mine workings and tailing show good signs of gold Abandoned and Collapsed shaft entrance

ECONOMIC GEOLOGY

The economic geology of the Properties is simply described as two vein-occupied shear zones, dissecting a Precambrian package of intrusive granite to grano-diorite.  Paralleling the veins is a dark colored grano-diorite dike with varying dimensions.  The Treasure Gulch vein ranges from about 6’ to over 12’ win width, containing shattered quartz with limonite ocher after pyrite, considerable secondary hematite, mylonite and fault gouge along the vein granodiorite contact and pyrite/chalcopyrite in the deeper workings.  Other sulfides may be present as well.

POTENTIAL

The vein system is strong and continuations over hundreds of feet.  At surfaces on the Treasure Gulch Property are approximately 5000 tons of ore, amenable to low cost surface extraction.  Additional reserves are available with depth, but no doubt only by underground development.

One also should also not discount the secondary ore bodies that are believed to be a depth and east and west of strike.
